WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE TICKET PRICE?
All ticket prices include dinner, show, and tax. Dinner includes a choice of entree, vegetable, rolls & butter, and coffee, tea, or milk. Preview our menu!
Not included: a la carte items such as appetizers, specialty non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, specialty menu entrees, desserts, and gratuities. (Gratuities are included for groups of 15+)
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE CAN I MAKE RESERVATIONS?
Groups of 15+ may reserve tickets for any advance date by contacting our Group Sales Department at 952-934-1547 or 800-355-6273. Parties of 14 or fewer may call the box office to determine ticket availability for a specific production. View the performance schedule and buy tickets online at your convenience.
CAN I BUY A GROUP OF TICKETS ONLINE?
We invite you to call our Group Sales Department for ticket quantities greater than 14. You will receive special pricing and great service! Visit our Group's web page for more information. Then call us at 952-934-1547 or 800-355-6273.
CAN YOU HOLD SEATS FOR ME?
Seats cannot be held. Please have all information at hand when ordering as there are no refunds.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
Tickets are not refundable. Chanhassen Dinner Theatres will happily exchange dates on your reservation with a minimum of three days advance notice. In the case of severe weather, when travel is not advised, tickets may be exchanged for an alternate date. Check with the box office.
WHAT METHODS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept: cash, check, debit cards, Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover, and Diners.
WHAT IS YOUR CIGARETTE SMOKING POLICY?
To comply with Minnesota State Law, smoking is not permitted within the theatre complex. Cigarette smoking is permitted on our north outdoor patio.
IS YOUR BUILDING HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE?
Handicapped parking and ramps will ease your arrival to our theatre complex. We offer wheelchair seating in each of our theatres. Be sure to mention the need for wheelchair seating when calling the box office for ticket reservations. At this time, wheelchair seating cannot be reserved during an online ticket purchase.
HOW CAN I BE CONTACTED IN THE CASE OF AN EMERGENCY WHILE AT THE THEATRE?
A paging system is only used in the case of an emergency theatre evacuation. Please leave the following phone number for your babysitter: 952-934-1500 and be sure to give your babysitter your play title, seat number, and the name on your ticket reservation.
WHAT IS THE LATEST TIME TO ARRIVE FOR LUNCH OR DINNER?
To guarantee relaxed dining, we recommend you arrive for lunch/dinner no later than thirty minutes after the doors open.
WHAT IS YOUR POLICY ON CELL PHONES IN THE THEATRE?
The ringing of a cell phone is distracting for the audience and the performers. If you bring a cell phone into the theatre, we ask that you turn it off before the performance begins. If you must use your phone at intermission, please remember to turn it off before re-entering the theatre.
DO YOU HAVE AN ATM IN THE BUILDING?
Yes, we have one Automated Teller Machine and two pay phones located in the lobby near the Box Office for your convenience.
WHAT IF I'M CELEBRATING A SPECIAL OCCASION?
Birthdays and anniversaries are made special at Chanhassen Dinner Theatres. We currently offer two luxury packages, THE CELEBRATION and THE SWEETHEART. When added to your ticket purchase, these packages make everything easy for you and special for the one you are treating. Be sure to ask about packages for special occasions when you call our box office. For more details, click here. Champagne and birthday cakes (large or small) can be pre-ordered through the box office. Our tuxedoed greeters will be happy to announce your occasion from the stage if requested in advance through the box office. You can also order flowers to be pre-set at your table from Chanhassen Floral at 952-949-2742.
WHAT IS YOUR POLICY ON CAMERAS IN THE THEATRE?
To comply with strict union regulations, the use of cameras, recording equipment, and picture cell phones are prohibited during performances. You may take pictures at your table prior to the performance. As a courtesy to our guests, our house photographers may stop by your table to photograph you at your dinner table. For your convenience, and if you choose, these photos will be available for purchase at intermission on the night you attend.
HOW MAY I PURCHASE A GIFT CERTIFICATE?
Gift certificates make wonderful gifts for everyone on your shopping list. They can be conveniently ordered online (where you have an option of actually printing the certificate directly onto your computer's printer), over the telephone, or at our box office. READ MORE
HOW DO I REDEEM A GIFT CERTIFICATE?
Call our box office to place your ticket order. Be sure to have your gift certificate available. We will need the numbers and the dollar amount from the certificate when you place your order. And keep in mind that your gift certificate is valid forever. We do not enforce an expiration date.
MAY I BRING MY INFANT?
In general, Chanhassen Dinner Theatres welcomes children ages five and above. Some productions may not be suitable for young children. If you are unsure, please ask the ticket reservationist. As a rule, babes in arms are not permitted in the theatres.
DO YOU HAVE CHILDREN'S DISCOUNTS?
Discounts are available for children aged 5 to 17 for selected performances when accompanied by an adult. Please ask the reservationist when ordering tickets.
DO YOU HAVE OFFERS FOR SENIOR CITIZENS?
Discounts are available for seniors age 60+ for selected performances. Please ask your reservationist. Discounts are not available for matinee performances.
ARE ASSISTED LISTENING DEVICES AVAILABLE?
Hearing Devices are available for use during a Main Stage production. Upon arrival place your request with the bartender in the Hogarth lounge.
DO YOU OFFER SIGNED (ASL) OR AUDIO INTERPRETED PERFORMANCES?
Signed (ASL) and Audio Described services are available for specific Main Stage performances. Patrons seeking an Audio Described or Signed service should contact the box office for performance dates and proper seating location.

IS PARKING AVAILABLE ON SITE?
Ample parking is available on site, and it's free!
IS THERE BUS SERVICE TO THE DINNER THEATRE?
There is no bus service to Chanhassen to accommodate our show times.
ARE SHOW-ONLY TICKETS AVAILABLE?
Show-Only tickets may be reserved no earlier than ten days prior to the performance date, based upon availability. Just call the box office.
WHAT IF I HAVE A SPECIAL DIETARY NEED?
If you or someone in your party has a special dietary request or concern, please bring it to the attention of your reservationist when you place your ticket order. Chanhassen does offer a vegetarian menu upon request in the theatre dining room.
DO YOU HAVE A DRESS CODE?
Chanhassen Dinner Theatres does not have a dress code. However, most people dress up -- some more than others. We want our guests to be comfortable, but generally, you will not see guests wearing shorts, tennis shoes, or blue jeans.
HOW DO I PRINT AN ONLINE PURCHASE AT HOME?
1. After you have submitted your ticket or gift certificate purchase, click on the "Download Tickets" button. You will automatically receive an email to the address you supplied when setting up your online account with us.
2. Within 15-30 minutes an email message will be sent to you. (Please make sure you have given us a valid email address.) The From name will be "Tickets" The Subject line will read "Chanhassen Dinner Theatres Purchase#000000."
3. The email will include a PDF attachment either in the body of the message or at the very bottom, depending on your type of mailbox (i.e. Outlook Express, Hotmail, Yahoo...)
4. The email contains an INVOICE which is a receipt of your payment. The invoice may not be redeemed for tickets or a gift certificate.
5. Double click to open the PDF attachment and view your ticket(s) or gift certificate(s). Each ticket will be its own page; if you ordered 4 tickets you'll have 4 pages that will print out, likewise for gift certificates.
6. With the PDF document open, you may click on the "print" icon in your email toolbar (at the top of the page) or choose "print" from the File menu at the top of the page.
7. With a scissor, cut out the tickets and bring them to the theatre on the day of your performance. That will serve as your admission to the production. The recipient of your gift certificate may redeem it by calling the box office or coming to the theatre to make a reservation.

DO YOU HAVE INFORMATION ON AUDITIONS FOR CDT PRODUCTIONS?
Chanhassen is a fully-professional theatre, and most actors are members of Actors' Equity, the actors' union. Auditions for Chanhassen Dinner Theatres are held several months prior to each production opening. Audition notice is given on our website and notices are posted locally in the Minneapolis Star Tribune newspaper found in section 550 of the classifieds or online at www.startribune.com.
